PRODUCT INTRODUCE

Turtle Wax Super Duty Rubbing Compound is specially formulated for fast cutting and deep correction of oxidation, scratches and swirl marks that detract from the natural brilliance of a vehicle’s paint. The thick formula allows for “spot on” correction with minimal sling. While many conventional products can dull or damage the surrounding paint surface, Turtle Wax Super Duty Rubbing Compound produces maximum correction with minimal compounding marks and finishes with a high gloss shine.

Optimum results: Apply with a high speed rotary or dual action buffer and foam pads. Turtle Wax Super Duty Rubbing Compound is designed to remove wet sanding marks (800-1,200 grit), orange peel and over spray. The formulation is compatible with all types of applicators: wool, cotton, foam and microfiber. No silicones or waxes are contained in the product.

TIPS/TRICKS

SHAKE WELL before use. Make sure the surface to be compounded is clean and dry. Fresh paint should be fully cured. Apply Turtle Wax Super Duty Rubbing Compound out of direct sunlight.

Mist pad with water to prime. Apply four pea-sized amounts at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions of the pad. With the polisher turned off, spread the compound over about a 0.5 sq meter area.

Polish at 1200 – 1800 RPM (5000 – 6800 OPM with a dual action polisher) working slowly across, then up and down, the area. Check your work after several passes to see if the defect has been removed. If so, reduce the pressure and continue buffing until a high gloss is achieved. If the pad becomes dry, mist it with water and continue buffing.

Wipe the area with a damp microfiber cloth.

Follow with either Turtle Wax Medium Duty Rubbing Compound (GP 201) or Turtle Wax Polishing Compound (GP 301) to restore optimum gloss.

Always apply Turtle Wax sealant, coating and or a wax after compounding or polishing.
